I have been a caregiver since 2009. I love the feeling I get from being needed and helping the elderly or disabled people. I mainly have worked for home health agencies and care homes. Im quiet, hardworking, patient and very understanding. I feel if anyone pays you to do a job and you agree to it, you tey to give that job 100 percent! I am a student studying Occupational Therapy who is interested in working with older adults. While I was completing my undergraduate degree, I worked part-time as a CNA at a long-term care facility for 3 years and I absolutely loved the experience. I genuinely enjoy working with the older adult population. I feel that there is a lot I learn from the stories and life experiences that older adults have. I am currently only taking classes a few days a week which gives me some extra time to pick up a caregiver/companion job.
