I am a very transparent, caring, God fearing, and compassionate individual, especially with the elderly. I previously worked as a caregiver for many years with an Agency in New Jersey before relocating to Texas. Being widowed at a very young age, and having raised 4 successful children, I have applied this success and warmth I used, to everyone and everything I face in life especially with the elderly who is as fragile as children. I like to give in my best in whatever I do, and very confident that you will enjoy having me as a member of your team.
Empathy, compassion, patience, reliable and trustworthy , flexibility : these traits have kept me going through these years as a great caregiver. The urge to help others attracted me to being a caregiver. What I enjoy the most being a caregiver is taking care of sick people that needs help gives me Joy in my heart and I love the satisfaction of knowing that I have such an important impact on people's lives. My personal achievement that I am proud of is overcoming my fears by completing my associate degree with high honors.

The Joy of seeing others smile again and being there for them, giving them attention are few of what i like about being a caregiver.

Taking care of people is part of who I am. I am a wife, mother of 5 and grammy of 6 beautiful grandkids. I have over 30 years in caregiver experience. I have worked in doctors offices, hospitals, ICU's, assisted living, hospice and home health environments. I truly enjoy making a difference in the lives of others. I currently work with a family that has two special needs children, and also take care of my parents that have stage 4 cancer. I managed an assisted living facility for several years and this is what prompts me to seek a caregiver role inside the home. Unfortunately, many of these places care more about the profits than they do caring for peoples loved ones. I want to make a difference. I want to provide the type of care that I would want for my own grandparents. It is a privilege to be entrusted with someones parent or grandparent.

Hello I am a very patient and reliable person. I enjoy caring for patients with health issues. I have been doing it for years. From older age to babies. I work at a hospital and my job is to carefully meet my patients needs. Whatever it takes for them not to be in pain and to be comfortable. It makes me happy knowing I make a difference if someones life.
I have patience with people. Understanding that being an elderly person doesn't make you invisible too everyone else. I'm attentative, dependable, fun, but serious. I enjoy having a conversations and I have a positive attitude. I learn fast and I like to clean and have my patients clean. I became a caregiver because of the reward I get of feeling as if I helped someone who might or can't help themselves. I get a joy out of providing a service and not look for something in return. Wanting too make them happy as well the family members happy with my work. Not too brag, but when I was working for hospice for 5 and half years I was rewarded with caregiver of the year in 2015.I wasnt expecting that but I'm thankful for it.
I am a great caregiver because, i love what i do n i enjoyed doing it from my heart. I love what i do because that's how i was brought up. Back in West Africa where I'm originally from, we didn't have nursing homes, Assisted living or even a better hospital that would care for our elderly. What i washed my parents n other family did was for us to take care of eachother mom's grandma n all older people related to you or not. So when i traveled to the U.S. i discovered that i could work as a CNA n do what i love to do best, I immediately went to school to obtain my HHA and CNA licenses. God bless you, and thank you for reading.
A heart of love and compassion, with the mindset to make another human smile in mist of pain would be my greatest achievement. Life is a gift wrapped and no one knows exactly what it is...our life is confronted with various health challenges that we never know what to expect. As a caregiver it my joy to be a source of blessing to another human like me, who life has thrown challenge which they cannot control. Love is the greatest gift of life.
Before becoming an owner of my own business. I took care of my own Parents for 20 years. I assisted with companionship, housekeeping, transferring & mobility, meal prep, medication reminders, toileting, grooming, and bathing. Being an Owner/Operator has allowed me to be very reliable, responsible and capable of multi-tasking. I have excelled and made the most of each opportunity. Being a member of a hard working, dedicated and passionate team has always been a great joy for me. Generating results and mastering new assignments is what I enjoy most. In school and work my peers and supervisors have always chose me to accomplish the impossible because of my ambition and determination for excellence. I would love to join your team, because I believe I can meet your expectations. I look forward to demonstrating my enthusiasm, perseverance and dedication as an employee.
