Howdy, I am very outgoing and willing to work. I chose to pursue the healthcare field because I find joy in helping others and giving back to the community. I enjoy the friend to friend relationships I develop with residents and patients. I am proud of working as a CNA because it not only requires immense behind the scenes work but it has also made me strive to go to college to earn a degree in English as well as pursue my RN.

I have over 10 years caregiving experience with training in CPR and first aid. I worked as a registered nurse (RN) for 9 years and 1 year as a paid caregiver. I took time off to be a stay-at-home mother. With my youngest starting kindergarten this year, I'm ready to work outside the home again. I'm a non smoker who provides quality senior care. Services include but not limited to companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transportation to appointments, run errands, assistance with bathing/grooming.
I am a family oriented person as well as caregiver. Positive character with significant experience with seniors. I am extremely enthusiastic about my clients and the amazing field of care-giving in general. I do have a varied background in the care giving industry, as well as the medical industry in general. Being a more experienced caregiver I tend get along with my clients very well. Seniors have always been a soft spot for me. In the beginning of my training when I was a CNA I had the privilege of being trained in a physical therapy dept, so I am very familiar with safe transfer techniques as well as good body mechanics. Stacey has been a Senior Caregiver for approximately 9 years now, I just finished working with an Alzheimer's client until the first week in Sept. Helping him to adjust to moving into a facility where he required day and night care. My work experiences here in Texas have been AMAZING!! I look forward to MY NEXT ADVENTURE!! OH and I LOVE ANIMALS TOO! My experience has been and IS these critters are a very important part of my clients and my family as well!! Care-giving in ALL ASPECTS is a RICH RICH EXPERIENCE that I LOVE VERY MUCH!!!
I love careing for the Elderly. I like to be initiative to thier needs, feelings, and advocate for my clients needs when necessary. I feel I am a good care provider because I thrive to be a dedicated professional with passion for what I do. I will treat your loved ones with the honor they deserve. My greatest achievement as a care provider is raising my children. I put as much into my client's care as I would my own family.
I am the second out of five children, i have been care giving all my life, 3 years ago my grandmother with Alzheimer's passed away, unable to afford hospice i helped my mother care for her until her final hours. i understand the need for appropriate care for loved ones. Living in College Station, Texas attending school online, im looking to extend a helping hand to any one who may need it during any difficult time in their lives.
Growing up, my dad has always suffered with chronic pain. From his back being broken at age 17 to having nerve and knee issues. I became a caregiver because of the passion I felt for him being all alone but still being able to live at home. I love to see all my patients smiling and having a good time even in the pain and situations they may be in!
Growing up I always knew that helping the elderly was something I wanted to get into as I got older. I have a special spot in my heart knowing that I could potentially make a huge difference in someone's like when they need it most. I guess knowing everyone will get older and for some, it's really hard. I just believe that I could make that difference for someone. What I find amazing is that I have been lucky to have made such great friends. Friends who don't have much family or many friends to see, visit or talk to. So I enjoy being able to be that friend. I enjoy the trust that comes along with those friendships.
