I am a graduate from Bryant & Stratton College with honors. I achieved my Associate's degree in Medical administration in April, 2013. I also received my Bachelors in Healthcare Administration management in April, 2016. I have 16 years' experience in the health care field, working with Alzheimer's patients. Additionally, I have experience in management within Healthcare faculties, working as a manger in a "Special Care Unit, which housed twenty-eight patients. I am also a certified coding, and billing specialist. Lastly, I have taught (Special Care) classes to the staff in regards to Dementia patients. I have many years of specialty working with handicap children and also volunteered working with children in Middle school settings. In addition, I have volunteered working for Hospice. To make a difference in a persons life, is very rewarding t me.
My family owns a mental health group home in Cumberland, VA. While growing up, I became interested in people with disorders or with people who were a little different. Working with people who may suffer from a disease lightens my day. I want to offer all I can to help them live their lives a little easier. I want to be the change within the world. I am outgoing, fun, patient, and very reliable. I have my own transportation and I rarely ever miss work. I graduated from college May 2018, but I am still taking summer classes to be able to receive a certificate in substance abuse. I really enjoy being a caregiver and attending to people who needs my help.
I became a caregiver due to when i was young i watch my great grandmother struggle with cancer. I tried to take care of her even though i was young. Since then when i got grown i decided to pursue a care in nursing. I like being a caregiver because i enjoy charing a part of myself with others. My most personal achievement was being one of the 1st to graduate high school on my mother side of the family and being able to attend collage . As for a little about my self I am a very independent woman, I have 3 children and married for almost 21 years, been doing nurse assistants with license for almost 21 years, and Ienjoy meeting new peoples.
I have a life's worth of experience caring for a special needs sibling with multiple neurological disorders as well as epilepsy. I am a kind and gentle person, and am genuine and warm. I am very proud of my personal achievements, such as earning my bachelors in social studies and quickly living my dream of teaching history soon after graduating.

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT BEING A CARE GIVER WAS BEING ABLE TO HELP THE ELDERLY WAS A BLESSING.MY PERSONAL ACHIEVEMENT THAT I AM PROUD OF IS THAT I HAD THE EXPERIENCE OF WORKING WITH THE ELDERLY WHILE ACHIEVING MY CNA CERTIFICATE CPR AND FIRST AIDE CARD AND MEDICATION CERTIFICATE.AND ALSO WORKED IN DIETARY WITH THE ELDERLY.
