I always give 100% and do the best job I can, with no exceptions or excuses. I also try to bring a sense of humor to my work. If I can add a smile or laugh to a client’s day, that means a lot to me. It is important to laugh. I love providing home caregiving services to those that otherwise are not able to do so.

I am a very caring person and friendly. I do quality work and I love to help others in any way that I can. I became a caregiver because I enjoyed spending time with other generations, other than my own, and understanding their perspective. I also became a caregiver because I love helping others in any way that I can. I got my CNA certification about 8 months ago and I have worked (and still am working) 2 jobs doing in home care. I am however looking for another job not working with a company and being a private caregiver.

Hello! My name is Apolonia and I am currently working fulltime as a CNA at Clearview in Juneau, WI. I started the nursing assistant program back in 2009 in my senior year of high school and became certified in 2010 shortly after my son was born. However, my first job working with elderly was as an activity aide for the Christian Home and Rehabilitation Center in Waupun. I really enjoyed being able to get the residents out of their rooms to share laughs, reminisce about the good old days, and to just be there for them when they needed someone to talk to. After a year, I decided that I wanted to pursue working as a nursing assistant, so I obtained a position with Century Oaks Assisted Living Center in Oshkosh. Yes, it was a long commute from Waupun everyday, but I absolutely loved it. I started when the second building opened, so not only was I a new cna but I was working in an environment that was entirely brand new and we all grew together. We had an amazing team of people and it never felt like going to work. We just became like family. In 2014, the company was bought out by Capital Senior Living and I stayed working for about a year and then decided it was time to take the next step. So I applied to Clearview because it was closer to home and I now have a more consistent routine for my son. I plan to stay working for Clearview fulltime, but I am looking to take on a possible part time, temporary position or even be on call certain days. Either way, I am definitely looking forward to caring for your loved one!

I have always been one of the youngest caregivers wherever I work, so I have always looked and treated any resident like they were my grandparent. I have a true passion for helping others. I know how to be empathetic with others.I cared for my elderly father until he was taken by the Lord. I spent 2 semesters in nursing school and have much experience dealing with the frail elderly and developmentally disabled. I also had the opportunity to do some work at our state mental health facility. I used to contract with the county for Supportive Home care and Specialized Medical Vehicle transportation Services.I have raised 3 wonderful children and am currently enjoying being a first time Grandmother. I love decorating and gardening.
