As a medtech I passed medication and provided direc care to facility residents. As a medtech I reported to the charge nurse . I also gave treatments according to physicians orders and in accordance with facility policy. It was required to give shift report as a medtech on the status of residents. It was required to document in the residents records as a medtech. You was also responsible for notifying the charge nurse of medications needing to be refilled. Assures personal and and staff compliance to residents rights. Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized medication cart and medication room.
