Hello! My name is Brittany, I have been in the nursing field for almost 10 years now providing care for a variety of patients with individualized care plans. Peers describe me as hard working, dedicated, compassionate, empathetic, kind, easy companion with a big heart. I started off in this industry taking care of my grandfather who became very ill, I volunteered in the hospital and rehab center he resided in for 4 years, I provided care for him until he passed away. He told me I needed to make nursing my career as it's what I am best at and have the heart for. With that being said this is what I love most about what I do, I love to provide companionship along with the best care provided to each resident creating a safe and healthy environment. Building relationships and treating others like they're your own family is very important in the role of a caregiver, this is how I choose to give back to the community and making them as comfortable as possible in times of need. This, I believe, is my biggest accomplishment thus far and hope to further my education in the near future.

Health Caregiver / CNA Inspired by taking care of my parents at home until they passed . My mother passed away 8 years ago and I took care of my father with dementia / Parkinson's disease after losing my loved ones closest to my heart I knew my passion was to take care of people needing the assurance of being at home were they feel the most comfortable in their surrounding which is their home . I have a great personality especially around the elderly !My passion is helping others in there daily routines in order for them to be independent in there own surroundings to feel safe in there own home is part of there wellness. I enjoy cooking for others Our roles in being a caregiver is to help others and the family members knowing that there loved ones are been cared for .I am someone who has a very passionate heart . I treat others as Iike my own family it's not just a job it's my passion and my loyalty to care . I am compassionate of there feelings and enjoy listening to there stories no matter how many times they tell the same thing it's very rememberable to them .I have a lot of experience in Dementia and Parkinson's disease patients.I do well in trying to keep there daily routine it's very important I feel for it to not change because it's what there use too.
