My name is Yourlie Lapointe and I have been a caregiver for some years now, very good for companionship, love to laugh, love helping others, as a caregiver I'm very patience, I enjoy talking to my clients help them on things that they cannot for themselves, in my head I always put how would want people to take care of my parents with that thought I got motivated to help others

I became a caregiver 12 years ago after my grandmother had a stroke. It was then that I truly realized my purpose. So I decided to leave the corporate workplace and pursue work in the home health care field. I love making a difference in the life of another human being. All people deserve to be treated with dignity and respect no matter what. I practice honesty, loyalty and gratefulness. I'm extremely organized, clean, patient and professional. I come to work each shift with a smile on my face looking forward to seeing, listening to and caring for my client. I'm always considerate of the fact I'm in the clients home and therefore respectful of their space. Time spent there is productive and valued. I'm devoted to living a healthy lifestyle which means preparing and eating quality foods. Exercise is so important as well along with sunshine and fresh air. Of course all in moderation and different for each case. I look forward to meeting the family members and those closest to the client. I will accommodate the client according to their wishes. I strive to make our time together pleasurable and comforting. Thank you!
