I went back to school at the age of 46 to be a hospice nurse (I am now 55). I am also a trained chaplain. I exclusively do private duty nursing, either through an agency or, preferably, with my own client. My husband and I moved to Bradenton from MN almost 3 years ago. I am extremely reliable and honest. I quickly adapt to what needs to be done, and I can handily manage all of the tasks of a household caregiver. As I am a nurse, I can manage/administer any medications, as well as manage appointments and information from your healthcare providers. I also monitor conditions daily, taking notice of any changes in physical,/mental activity, as well as taking vital signs and monitoring nutritional needs. In addition to nursing services, I can assist with all activities of daily living- dressing, bathing, meal preparation, light housekeeping, shopping, errands, companionship, etc. I have a completely clean driving record and insurance, love pets, non-smoker. I'm easy-going with a great sense of humor, and can provide excellent references! My rate is $25/28 per hour (depending on taxes), and I would love to meet with you to discuss your needs/days/hours.
