The career I thought I would have and the one I want now began when my mother became ill. For years, I cared for the medical and emotional needs of my terminally ill mother before she passed, but it wasn't until that time that I realized I wanted my career to be that person who made life easier for those who needed it most. Working with patients is an honor for me-it's all about putting away your needs to help others. Knowing that a smile on my face can bring joy and happiness to someone else is priceless, and because of that, I am pursuing a career that means more than just a paycheck. My short time experience working with patients in hospitals and the time I spent caring for my mother is just the beginning of what I know I can offer someone who wants to be treated with love and respect. I am a skilled CNA who is CPR and ACLS certified. I am dependable, trustworthy, and a great listener who will help you retain a sense of independence, while taking some of the burden off of you. If you're in need of more specialized care or assistance, such as personal hygiene care, dressing, help with mobility, feeding, light housekeeping, transportation, or just need some friendly companionship, I would welcome the opportunity.
