To me it's more than giving someone a bath or dressing them, it's building a friendship and giving hope and emotional support to a real human being whom may feel alone and forgotten. I have been in the healthcare community for 20 years, taken care of hospice patients and my very own husband whom had six strokes. It was a life changing experience for me. I learned to be more patience with listening and caring for my love ones, I learned humility, and dignity to my clients. I formed a beautiful bond with my clients, they all became like family to me.
