I became a care giver after my mother was diagnosed with moderate memory loss-dementia. I found out that help is not hard to find but good help that cares is very hard to find.What I liked about caregiving is the fact that I can wake up everyday to strive towards making sure that the client I am working with knows without a doubt in their heart that I am there for them. I want try to instill hope make a difference in their lives, even if its just to see a smile or blink of an eye. I was able to help my mother to continue to live in her home by getting two care givers,a security and surveillance monitoring system for me to monitor her from my home. I care about the human condition. It does not matter who it is, what disease diagnoses they have, are what they have done are gone through in the past.
