I have been working with children and families for over 30 years as a preschool teacher, a program director for at risk children with developmental delays and behavioral issues. I have also been a direct care provider for foster children, ages newborn to 18 years of age. My career has been most rewarding, as I know that I have made a difference in the lives of many children in my care. Being such an important part in their journey of development, discovery and independence has been paramount in giving me the passion to teach and care for children all these years. I have decided to retire from classroom teaching and would love to continue my journey with my love of children by working as a Nanny. I pride myself in being loving, nurturing, understanding and fun! What I have found most rewarding in all the years that I have been caring for young children, is observing the amazing growth in their social, emotional, cognitive and physical development by providing them opportunities to experience the wonders of life through play, hands on experiences, reading and self-discovery. I have a B.S. Degree in Education and have all current credentials for Infant/child CPR, First Aid, and all local and federal background checks.
