I am unique I have experience and I am compassionate for elders that are in need. Empathy is something else I bring to the table I am all for the client. When I was a child my grandmother became sick and needed assistance from caregivers they treated her well, furthermore she was an LPN and only wanted the best interest for her patients. I thought it would be great to help elders also have a positive mind set even on a not so good day. Have patience and listen. I must be reliable for my client and the family there is a job that needs to be done and I want them to know they can depend on me. I am trustworthy and honesty is a must. I've watched aides help my grandmother from 1996 to 2004 and they showed me things everyday they came so I would be able to help out myself when they are not there. I started working in home care 2009 after graduating school for medical assisting. I bring great work ethics love and care. Everyone needs someone to depend on and that is me. Thank you

I have been a patient care assistant/ Direct careworker for over 15 years and I love what I do. I enjoy being able to help people in need. I have worked with many clients that are recovering from strokes. I have also worked with many clients that are suffering from Dementia and Alzheimer's disease. I have worked with many clients that just need companionship also. I have also helped clients that are terminal to help make their transition peaceful and comfortable also helping to comfort the family. I am a very patient and understanding person which I feel is important, I also have a great calming effect if I am ever faced with any stressful situations which helps me to be more affective in my job. I am very trustworthy and honest. I have done errands on my clients behalf in a timely and accurate way. I will accompany the client to and from Dr. Appointment as well as doing errands and other outings. I am very dependable and prompt. I believe that You have to love what you do in order to be more effective with different clients because no two clients are the same and each one will get my undivided attention for as long as I am taking care of your loved one. I don't spend time on my cell phone, my attention goes to the client at all times, which is important. I also use universal safety precautions at all times. I am always reading and learning about better ways I can be more effective with my clients. I am a caregiver/ personal care assistant because I love helping people and I love making a difference in people's lives. I am also a licensed Adult care worker who specializes in working with adults.
