Hi! I'm Amanda, a former tech professional turned certified End-of-Life Doula. I left my cushy tech job to pursue caregiving full-time in early 2024, during the final days of my grandmother's life. Spending time with both her and my grandfather at the end of their lives, I noticed a big gap in their care: medical caretakers simply do not have the time or bandwidth to provide emotional support or companionship, which can be crucial in someone's final days. I became an End-of-Life Doula so that I could learn how to best support a person at the end of their life. My goal is to make my clients feel seen, heard, and loved. I believe that I have tons to learn from my clients too, if they're willing to share the lessons they've learned along the way. I live with my husband and our 2 dogs (who would love to see you, if you'd like!).
