Hello, My name is Brian McCallion. I am 43 years old and enjoy helping people. I have worked as a caregiver with my family and some friends' families, but this is my first time seeking employment outside of that circle. I have a great love for communicating and trying to improve the lives of others. My mother also told me to treat people as I would like to be treated and I try to live life by that golden rule. I have a lot of energy, enjoy communication and always put everything I have into anything that I attempt. I just came back to America after spending eight years as an English as a second language teacher in South Korea. It was a tremendous experience and it gave me real perspective in my life. I am no longer content with working just to make money. I really need to do something rewarding. Something that can make a difference in the world. If I have to do it one person at a time, then that is okay by me. If you give me a chance to prove myself; I guarantee that it is a choice that you will not regret. My experience comes entirely from providing care and companionship for my family and the mother of my friend. I used to stay with my grandmother during her cancer. She needed to have some company, help in and out of her bed, get her medication and give her food or anything else she needed. My father has bouts with alzheimer's and I sit with my friend's mother who suffers from dementia, diabetes and lack of mobility. I began sitting with my grandmother when I was only 11 and still work with my friend's mother to this day.

My dream growing up was to become a hair dresser in a nursing home. I went to cosmetology school years ago and after I graduated I decided it wasn't for me so after my grandfather passed away I decided to go back to school to become a certified nurses aid, and it was the best decision I ever made! I love helping anyone in need and love putting a smile on someone's face. I am a very caring loving person and go above and beyond for anyone I can. I take care of an elderly man every sat from 8am until 8pm. Monday through Friday i babysit to young kids from care.com my hours are 230pm until 6pm. I am available Monday through Friday till 2pm. I currently live in pine hill nj with my fiance. I grew up in collingswood nj, my family still lives there. I moved to Mt Ephraim when I was 14 and went to Audubon High. I am 36 years old, I have no children of my own but 2 step boys to be, they are 3 and 1.5 years old. Which I help care for every weekend
