I am currently a full time emergency medical technician. I have two licenses in emergency medicine, and both my BLS and CPR/AED licenses. I fell in love with the patient care aspect of my job. I want to become a caregiver so I am able to form close bonds with my patients. I will be challenging the state test for CNA shortly. I will be going back to school in the summer for my nursing degree. My end goal is to be a hospice nurse and assist with palliative care. I have experience with Alzheimer's and dementia patients, as I was the caregiver for my grandmother who had Alzheimer's. I would be willing to perform patient care, medicine administration, bathing, light housework, laundry, pet care, errands, and scheduling doctors appointments. Will consider transportation of patient in case by case basis.
Caregivers that work non-full-time jobs or irregular shifts can negotiate extra compensation in addition to their standard hourly wage.
