About Rodney

I choose to become a caregiver because I care about people, especially those that cannot care for themselves and like the idea of assisting person to become more self sufficient and increasing their dignity and well being. I have worked a lot with children with disabilities as a home care giver and as a para professional in the school district. I ran errands, planned schedules, answered phones, took kids to and from activities, and provided meals, helped with toilet training, and bath time. I have also worked with older family members which has always been enjoyable for me. I would drive them to and from where they needed to go, help with groceries, give them medication, laundry, assisted with feedings and other needed things around the house.
