I like being a caregiver and helping people. I first got my home health aide certificate in 1996 and worked at John Knox Village in both the Assisted Living Unit as well as Home Health doing companion care visits. For the last 15 years I have been a caregiver for my own grandmother preparing her meals, helping her bathe and dress, taking her to doctor appointments, and doing the things that she no longer can. I have also helped out some family friends who needed assistance at home after surgery or while family was out of town. I am friendly, outgoing, caring, loving. I am always happy and have an upbeat personality.
