Since I was young I have always liked older adults. I have always had a caring heart. I then went on to technical school to get certified as a CNA. My first job as a CNA was In a nursing home. I then left to have children. My son who is now 32 has multiple disabilities, so I had dedicated my life to taking care of him. He needs everything done for him. He is blind, has mild CP, brain damage and autism. I did have some in home care jobs while he was attending school. But now that he is in a group home, I have been working for Comforcare here in Wisconsin. I am a home health aide for this company. I will me moving to New Smyrna or that area in April or May of 2015 and would like to find work now and be set up to start shortly after I get settled in my new home. I like caring for others it gives me a very good feeling inside. My most personal achievement would have to be raising my disabled son alone. Just being a good mom and advocate for him.
