My name is Esthervina and I am a certified nursing assistant and home health aide. I have 10 years of hands-on experience as a caregiver. My experience includes working at the center of disability rights for 8 years and 2 years of private duty care. I have current certifications which include CPR/first aid, medication administration, domestic violence, Alzheimer disease and related disorders, and talking to dementia residents. I have provided care for elderly and those with disabilities which include bathing, meds administration, transportation to appointments, meal preparation, housekeeping and companionship. I am very passionate about promoting health, independence and I enjoy the opportunity to impact clients lives and make a difference to them. As part of getting familiarized with care plan, I am willing to provide care without compensation to help client get comfortable with change and adjustments. I would also like to add that I have already completed a background check that can be submitted when requested.

My interest in caregiving started at an early age. Every sunday after church I would visit the sick and shut in members and others who requested prayers. I then attended a Medical Specialty High School and was involved in volunteering at local Adult Day Cares. When I was about 15 years of age my grandmother started developing Dementia and shortly after had a stroke. I became her main caregiver; cooking, cleaning, reading to her when not in school. I love the fact that I get to make a difference in someones day to day life. I tried many different ventures and always ends back into caregiving.
