My name is Nicole. I have 8 years experience as an Occupational therapist assistant. I began my journey in 2010. Fresh out of college I started my first job in a skilled nursing facility. I enjoy working in this field and have a great amount of experience working with the elderly whom might suffer from Alzheimer's and dementia. I believe the key to being a successful caregiver is having the time and patience to truly understand our patients as a whole person and their needs. I am fluent and bilingual in Spanish. I have experience in Activities of Daily living and assisting patients with ADL tasks. I enjoy what I do and it's a rewarding feeling to come home at the end of the day and know I made a significant difference in somebody's life whether it's for companionship or simply helping them with their basic needs.
