I began as a dietary worker in a skilled nursing home in Staten island, New York. Prior to this I was trained (on the job) as an orderly in a federal government operated hospital. I have been an independent contractor, and as of this communication I am registered with Visiting Angels in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I have worked with the mentally ill and developmentally disabled with United Cerebral Palsy. One personal achievement that I am proud of is My walking 16 days, down the I-95 corridor; through five states in order to advocate for H.I.V./A.I.D.S (2005) in addition to this I spent four days on Capitol Hill, pleading for funding to combat this scourge. I love to read. I enjoy theatrere, whenever affordable and I very much like to fish, kayak and camping out. By the grace of God, I have been cancer free for almost four years and enjoy exceptionally good health. The little light or rather smile that comes across my clients face makes being a caregiver most rewarding!
