I have been in the healthcare field for most of my life and have always had compassion and understanding for people in their time of need. It seems when family members and friends are in need of care I am the one they call to attend to their needs. I have taken care of a few family members with terminal illnesses in the past, I guess it is just my calling. In those times I did have a great deal of interaction with hospice as well as Doctors when attending to their personal needs as well as their medication needs. I have had quite a few years of experience dealing with the elderly as well in a nursing home environment when I worked as a lab technician and did home calls as well. I have had my own business in the past but It seems I am always drawn back to the care giving arena. I did at one time return to college for further advancement to the RN level which at this time I am looking into as well. I feel I would be an excellent candidate for this position and would devote my whole self to the needs of my patient in giving them the best quality of life they deserve. ... more
