1. I actually became a caregiver by accident. One of the gentlemen I was housecleaning for needed some one to assist him. I agreed to help and LOVED Being able to help it is so rewarding. 2. Being able to assist in what they may need, talking to them and listening to there life experiences. And making new friends. 3.being a wife and mother is my best achievement. 4.I am 58 years old and love people , I have worked at being a caregiver for around 14 -15 years. I consider each one of my clients a chapter in my book of life Each amazing and uniquely different. I have 3 grown children and 7 amazing grandchildren. In N.Y. I used to visited the local nursing home and met so many wonderful people. I am a Christian and enjoy going to church. I have worked with disabled people also in there home settings.
