What makes me a great caregiver is my compassion. I have made caregiving a priority of mine since I graduated from college with a degree in Journalism from the University of Florida. Immediately I gained a job taking care of a elderly woman and after her it just stuck. She claimed that I saved her life three times and the feeling of that took over me and changed my perspective of the path i wanted to take in life. It went from the News industry to the medical industry really fast and I cant be more happier. I wish to open my own nursing home one day and create a space for the seniors that they can really enjoy, with compassionate, loving nurses.
