I'm eager to bring a difference in the client's everyday life After my mother's stroke which affected her speech and mobility, we neede to place her in a nursing facility that provided 24/7 care. During those years that she live there, I was completely involved in her daily care. When she passed away, I realize that it was definitely something that I wanted to continue doing, although since I was young I used to take care of her every time she was hospitalized, and also for other members of the family. I enjoy being able to help others, to provide comfort, company, be useful to someone that needs support and some help on getting their meals prepared, their laundry done or beds change or even help while they are getting dress. Being capable to do that to others with the same love and dedication that I did it for my mother is something that makes me feel accomplished and proud of. I always think and be grateful that for my mother, there were a lot of people that gave her the best care. I want to continue doing that in her name for others.
