I feel I am a great caregiver because I have a big heart I do things most people don't do above and beyond what I'm supposed to do I clean extra I wash extra I cook extra I do everything extra and how it became a caregiver was I had a friend with multiple sclerosis to kept going through caregiver after caregiver after caregiver one day she asked me if I would be her caregiver I told her I didn't want to ruin our friendship but she said we wouldn't ruin our friendship come on give it a try and I was with her for six years before she moved and that's what open my eyes to be coming to caregiver to help the people need When they can't do it themselves and I enjoy seeing the smiles on peoples faces and hearing the appreciation in the voices when I hear thank you so much I appreciate your help for all you do that brings a big smile to my heart . I've been a caregiver for 17 years now and although I've slowed up a little I'm not quitting yet I have many more years to go to give to the community that need me .
