I am a teacher by profession; and I was a childcare provider for ten years. It is very important to me to provide a high quality service to the individual under my care. There are many things that have helped to shape my desire to choose this field and motivate me to prepare for a career both seniors and childcare fields. I love providing care giving services to those that would otherwise not be able to do so. The smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel I have done my job right. In fact, I have always enjoyed helping people so I know I am doing the right thing. I appreciate the chance to get to know clients and their families and become an integral part of their lives. For that, I always give 100% and do the best job I can, with no exceptions or excuses. I also try to bring a sense of humor to my work. If I can add a smile or laugh to a client’s day, that means a lot to me.
