I have always enjoyed taking care of somebody. The first person was my grandfather when I was in Poland. He had a stroke and I was only 19 years old. I was helping my mother to take care of my beloved 84 year old grandfather in our home. I just love to do this. I felt as though I was closer than ever to my grandpa. Then, when I was 40 years old I came to the U.S. I have since become a U.S. citizen and started working as a care giver in New York 17 years ago. My husband and I moved to Florida. It was then that I decided to continue my career as a caregiver and obtained my degree as a C.N.A. I graduated and am so proud because at age 40 I was able to accomplish so much, despite my challenges with the English language. I have worked privately with people in their houses over 17 years. I have taken care of people with dementia, amputee, kidney, heart disease, diabetes, etc. I am a very good cook ,and am able to operate automobiles that are disability enabled. I bring and assist people with doctors visits. l have excellent references that are available through this website and upon request. I prefer to work one on one, with a patient 35 to 40 hr a week. I always treat my patients with love and respect. I am very honest, reliable, responsible and trustworthy. I am a great companion and care giver.
