I was attracted to being a caregiver because I play a vital role in the life of another person. It can requires dedication, compassion, stamina and hard work. In addition, I am keenly aware that providing care for another person is uncharted territory. And most people are unprepared for this role. There are no courses on how to be a good caregiver. There is no textbook on what to expect. Somehow, I have figured it out. I learn everything I can and get creative when I have to. As well as, I do my best at all times.
