I am an old soul. I have always had a great compassion for the elderly. They all have a special story to tell. I enjoy serving others and showing love and compassion.

"I am a Certified Nursing Assistant with a heart". This has been the comments I get from my patients and families. I have compassion and empathy and most of all I always think I am the recipient. How I take care of myself and my family is how I take care of my patients. I love to see them smile with contentment with my service. I worked in nursing home facilities , hospice care and private accounts and I would say I love what I am doing. I also worked at Brooks Rehabilitation hospital for three years in the brain injury department and I felt the happiness in my heart seeing patients go back to being independent again. This is the kind of job I love doing for as long as I am able to do it. Helping someone by giving quality care and love. I am a caregiver a patient can count on to be there when I am needed. I am patient and understanding, flexible and reliable at all times. I always see to it to make a difference with the quality of care I give. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the opportunity to be with someone who I can help and care and when my shift ends I have a big smile on my face thinking I made that someone happy. My personal achievement I am proud of is by following my heart by making a person happy.
