My name is Shannon Walker, 29 years old and I am a 2nd year nursing student at Arizona College of Nursing to obtain my bachelors! I currently reside in Clearwater Florida & willing to travel. I have been working in the medical field for 4 years now. Prior to home healthcare, I was working as an Emergency Medical Technician in Hillsborough County for 3 years, I absolutely loved it but I know I was put on this earth do more within my new field! My passion is giving compassionate care to those who are unable to care for themselves properly! I specialize in making my patients feel comfortable and stress free, while creating a more positive & relaxing environment for him or her. I am here to take as much workload off the family as well. I am goal oriented and an extremely hard worker, looking to exceed your expectations when caring for your loved ones! I like helping them do thing they use to do by themselves but now become difficult to do along, cleaning, groceries shopping, doctor appointments, etc. Also I like hearing the stories of their lives and giving them comfort. I take care for everything and anything they need. I have been there unconditionally with every person I had work with and they have become like family. I'm a person who is devoted to her job. I raise 2 children, a girl and a boy, and now I live along . For almost 6 years I was the main caregiver to 89 year old lady with osteoarthritis. For four years I took care for a lady with Alzheimer's. The last 4 years I help a couple with daily routine, light housekeeping, cooking, driving.
