I became a caregiver after retiring from my job and caring for my 88 year old mother with Alzheimer. Its something that comes natural to me. I love making my client happy and making them laugh. Everything else is second nature. Empathy and love is so easy to give, its not work, its just natural. My personal achievement was getting my client to let me bathe her. When I was hired, my client wasn't being bathed. I was able to start grooming and bathing her, not going to say it was easy but it became much easier. I am still close to my client. I went to visit her last weekend. She was so happy to see me. Such a lovely lady, beautiful family. It was pleasure.

I cared for a client for early onset Alzheimer. I spent 20 months caring for her. I bathed and groomed her daily, prepared meals, planed daily activities. We had a lovely 20 months. I worked as a live in. I managed all the household, the prescriptions, the car inspection, registration, car maintenance. I set up her prescriptions with mail order to save her money. I know how to blow dry hair and fix her nails. I cooked meals, did light housekeeping. She had a healthy and active lifestyle. Everyday we had activities. My goal is to make my client happy and make life easy on her love ones. When my client is with me, you can be worry free.
