I was the caregiver for my mother who had Breast Cancer. I prepared her meals, bathe, dressed and groomed her. I did the laundry, cleaned the house, did the groceries and ran errands. I took her to all her doctor appointments, radiation, chemo and surgeries. Out of all the children she had I was one of the closest to her and the one to be there for her while she experienced those difficult times of pain and depression. I gave her companionship, supported her emotionally, helped financially and helped her with mobility. This was the experience of my life that helped me to become even more caring. It was a very difficult time for me to see the suffering and emotional breakdown but I was there to help her in every and any way that I could. It was a long journey and unfortunately she passed away. I've always had the passion to help others but after this experience my passion has grown stronger.
