About Gracie Lynn

Hello, My name is pronounced GRAYSHA. I am a happy and funny caregiver. It is Spanish, I am not. I am in Naples, Fl but will travel. I do live in senior care and live out part time work. I have been caregiving for over 14 years, with 10 hospital experience as a CNA/ TECH prior. I am a Certified CNA & HHA and Certified Medication Management I carry Caregiver Liability Insurance.I have taken care of clients with Dementia, Alzheimer's, Cancer, Huntington Disease, Diabetes, COPD, and love what I do. I am a great caregiver because I am patient, kind, compassionate and dependable. I have outstanding references, my CPR, first aid, medication management certificates. I am an animal lover as well and will take care of them if my client pet is mine. I do come & go and live in jobs.I do all, A.D.L.'S, bathing, cooking, keeping my clients, clean and dry. If able I will get them out for a walk, a drive, out to lunch, whatever the family needs. I am a very good cook. and love cooking. I understand that it is very difficult, for some people to have some stranger come in there house. I am a caregiver, who does not take over, but works with the family, and knows when to back off or give them their space. I have an awesome sense of humor, love sports, the beach or just sitting and chatting about their past. I am a history buff and always learn something new about American history from the ones I care for.Thank you for reading my profile. Gracia GRAYSHA

I have been in the healthcare field for most of my life and have always had compassion and understanding for people in their time of need. It seems when family members and friends are in need of care I am the one they call to attend to their needs. I have taken care of a few family members with terminal illnesses in the past, I guess it is just my calling. In those times I did have a great deal of interaction with hospice as well as Doctors when attending to their personal needs as well as their medication needs. I have had quite a few years of experience dealing with the elderly as well in a nursing home environment when I worked as a lab technician and did home calls as well. I have had my own business in the past but It seems I am always drawn back to the care giving arena. I did at one time return to college for further advancement to the RN level which at this time I am looking into as well. I feel I would be an excellent candidate for this position and would devote my whole self to the needs of my patient in giving them the best quality of life they deserve.
