I was working on my RN when at the middle of the the first year of the program my husband passed away. Later I had the greatest opportunity to work for an elderly lady with alzheimer's disease for 3 years. I love working with elderly people since i had lost both my parents already. I had raised 4 great children on my own. They have their own families now and I am a proud grandma of 6. I consider that a personal achievement. My home country is the Philippines. A country with very hospitable people where family values are priority. I am a furniture consultant for 18 yrs in my country and had travelled Asian countries to do this. I moved to the US in 2004.
