I've been a Medical Assistant for 9 years and love caring for people. While a majority of my medical career has been spent in pediatrics, I've experienced caregiving for seniors part-time throughout the last 15 years. I'm just as passionate about healthcare as it relates to Seniors and/or those with physical limitations, as I am about children. I believe what makes me a great caregiver, is my compassion for people along with my experience. I'm comfortable doing almost any task as it relates to in-home care. I can cook a variety of meals for any dietary need, I love to sit and provide conversation or entertainment, I'm experienced in medical care and have no issues tracking or administering medicine, I can easily handle shopping or grocery needs, and I have no problem providing physical assistance for bathing, grooming, and mobility requirements. I'm a wife and mother of 2, so I know how to maintain a household and care for those who can't care for themselves.

So one thing about me, I am a certified caregiver & have trained experience also I may as well been a caregiver my whole life, I took care of my cousin who was paralyzed, I've taken care of all of my grandparents and people I don't even know. I have a huge heart, I am a sensitive person, I am super sweet & down to earth. I'm an old soul, I would rather hang out with elderly people than people my age. I don't have much actually work experience due to I worked at an assisted living facility & it just wasn't for me I wanted to work in home care something part time not as much on me because I also am fixing to be going to school. I am not CPR trained or certified yet but I plan on doing that ASAP, when it comes to taking care of people, I know when it comes to my granny & I know I would be the same way myself, I want them to feel comfortable, I want to know the certain way they like things, their food, or the things they don't like so I can do it right, I want to gain a companionship with them, treat them like family & know that I honestly enjoy and need companionship just as me. I want them to know I am there for them that they can feel comfortable around me to ask or say what they need or feel. I also have reliable transportation, valid ID, and valid auto insurance. I don't mind taking them anywhere they want or need to go. I really need this right now, it gives me a purpose, it makes me happy. I'm available to work immediately, I would even consider being a live in caregiver if anyone needed one.
