For the past 12 years, my life has been dedicated to seniors. I consider myself to be a wonderful caregiver because I am very compassionate, understanding and loving. I became a caregiver after my grandmother passed away 14 years ago. My grandmother was living home with my parents. I would help out with her care in between work and school. I saw first hand how the caregivers would care for my grandmother. My parents was very thankful for the care my grandmother received. I knew I wanted to be a caregiver from that point on. One of the things I like about being a caregiver would have to be providing families with a piece of mind. Now I am a LPN and love what I do even more. I take all the years of being a aide and apply it to the skills I've learned as a nurse.
