Hello, My name is Ruth. Helping people has always been a passion of mine. I was introduced to the caregiver field when I was taking nursing courses. I did not continue on with my nursing career. However, helping the elderly has always been something that I enjoy doing. I took care of my grandmother for 2 years before she passed away. My grandmother was very adamant about not going to a nursing home and staying in the comfort of her own home. After understanding why my grandmother did not want to go to a nursing home, I decided to dedicate my time to the elderly who don't have have family memebers that are able to assist them 24hrs. I look forward to meeting a new family that I can help.
