I became a caregiver (CNA) because of my late wife's condition,she had been disabled for 10 yrs. of our 13 year marriage, she had: osteoporosis, scoliosis, neuropathy, hepatitis C, early stages of dementia, both hip replacements, left shoulder replacement, both wrists broken, and liver cancer. So I thought since I was taking care of her I would go to school while her nurses came to see her on a daily basis, and get my license for a CNA. I am excellent at what I do, and every client, patient, or resident that I have worked with would definitely agree that I am the best they have had. What I like about being a caregiver is the satisfaction of making someones day a little brighter, helping someone even in the smallest way can make a difference. Because the people I provide care for are in my opinion my number one priority. I am proud of the fact that at my age I graduated from my CNA training program at the top of my class with a straight "A" average. I am honest, loyal, dependable, and have an excellent work ethic. I am always willing to go the extra mile for my clients.
