Am a great caregiver coz am kind, patient,understanding, loving, respectful, funny, educated and most of all if I work, I give my heart and committment to the family and most especially to the client that I am taking cared off, That's why I stay long to each client and will cease working only if the client passed away or transferred to a facility or institution. This kind of job is a calling, and I have that. I have the foremost love and committment not only of monetary purpose but a life's accomplishment and fulfillment. I enjoy giving a quality life to a client, that there is still more to life, to enjoy and to laugh and to be happy inspite of the course of aging, to be well taken cared of. Am proud that I can be of help to people who need care, I can cook the food that they want to eat, I can make them laugh inspite of the pain and cares they are worried upon, and I can show to the family that their love ones still have the quality of life , feeling secured and wanted, and most of all being loved. To name the basic duties I used to do as a caregiver: medication reminders/management, monitoring changes in client's health, assisting w/ bathing and grooming, toileting, transferring the client, laundry, basic food preparation, going w/ the client to doctor's app't and social functions and companionship.
