I became a caregiver by caring for my doctor's mother as she battled cancer. Then I cared for several friends as they also battled cancer. For the last 20 years I have been caring for people with debilitating diseases and the elderly. I am extremely compassionate and have great patience with people. My best personal accomplishment was caring for one client for 11 years, who became a true friend in that time. When I started with her she was not expected to live another three months and she lived 11 wonderful, happy years with my care.
