Hello, I am a professional med student at a prominent university in North Carolina. I am a direct, compassionate, patient, and caring individual by nature. My expertise includes the following: I have certificates of completion from Florida State College for Articulated Nursing Assistant, and Pharmacy Technician among other degrees. I have been caring for the elderly since 2014 when I received my training in Florida. I have experience in assisting with ADL, IDLs, respite, and companion care. I can transfer a patient and assist with gait (walking). I am free to assist with meal prep and errands/shopping (with paid mileage if my vehicle is used). I have my BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR), I am vaccination (flu), and diabetes (injection) certified through my grad school program. What I like best about being a care provider is helping my patients manage their needs and comorbidities. I am personally proud of the fact that I worked hard to get myself into med school to achieve my dreams of caring for patients at a higher level.

I am a good caregiver because I am a great listener, trustworthy, and helpful. I wanted to become a caregiver because recently my grandmother was diagnosed with lung cancer and before I moved to North Carolina a lot of my time I would spend taking care of her. I saw the joy I brought her by just sitting with her, listening to her stories from when she was younger, playing games, watching movies, and just being there for her. When I left I wanted to bring the same joy to others and find a way to give back to my community.
