After 35 years of heading a commercial electrical contracting business, I decided it was time for me to do something that truly helped people. As a former football player and semi-pro cyclist, I knew that my ongoing interest in and knowledge of physical fitness (I still work out 4 hours a day) would be of great benefit to my potential clients. I was drawn to being a professional caregiver as a result of stepping in to work with a friend's mother in an asssited living residence for two years--and being pulled aside by the visiting minister, who said to me: "I hope you realize you have a gift for this work. You should pursue it." I moved with my wife to Sarasota in August of this year and hope to work with those who need me in this community.
