1. I became a caregiver because I LOVE PEOPLE. For some reason i feel like i was brought to this earth to be a people person. I get along so easily with other people and always have the best attitude. I love to provide help for someone who cant help them selves and do the easy things that we do on a daily basis for ourselves. I feel like me providing them with help is helping them live a happier life. 2. I like being able to make somebodies day. At the facility i work at right now, i have 66 wonderful alzheimers and dementia patients to take care of on a daily basis. Doing everything for them while also being their friend, reminding them of who they are and where they've come from. Sometimes its sad that i know more about what they're 90 years of life was like then they can remember. Telling them i love them everyday and i hope to see you tomorrow and hearing the love back from them really makes me cherish my job and im only 20 years old. I feel like i was born to help people and make them happy. 3. A personal achievement i am proud of is being promoted at my job after only 2 months. they saw and witnessed the good work i have been putting in. I love my job but it can be a very stressful jobs. We deal with the memory care and the outbursts of people who are ultimately trapped in their head. They are here physically but sometimes not mentally and sometimes i feel like i am the only family they have at times. I am also proud that i am in my 3rd year of college to become a Regis
