I used to own and managed a board and care business in Anaheim. We sold the business in 2001 to relocate to the Philippines. My husband's father was diagnosed of having thyroid cancer that time. He's cancer free now. We decided to come back ro California in 2009 but by then my husband was opposing to the idea of owning a board and care again. I love to be with elderly people. I'm a medical assistance graduate and worked in medical office for 3 years before owning my board and care. My last client that I was taking care of died last week,Feb.26. I took care of her for almost 6 years in her own home. I took her to all of her doctor's appts. Scheduled everything she needed . She was a great person and I feel lucky to have taken care of her. I enjoyed my time with her. I have a friendly personality and try my best to keep my clients dignity.
