Seniors have a lot to share. I listen to them, and I think that is important. Most times, although family would like to be more involved, they either live too far away or are so busy with their own lives, that they just don't have as much time as they would like to make sure their loved one is taken care of. I like knowing that I am making a positive difference in people's lives. Having been a wife and mother for many years, I feel confident as a care giver. I am currently providing care part time for an elderly couple in Hemet, and find it very rewarding. I have also provided care for my own senior mother and mother-in-law during times of convalescents. I am available part time during the weekday hours to make life easier for some senior and the people that care about them. I can cook, do laundry, light housekeeping, provide transportation to appointments and errands, and most importantly, companionship. I think communication between care giver, client, and client's family is extremely important. About myself: I am a happily married mother of two teenage boys, and I live in Menifee, CA. I drive a fully insured 2013 Kia Sorento~ plenty of room for those groceries!
