I obtained a position at the FAU Memory and Wellness Center as a Work-Study student in October 2018. I got hired as a Lobby Greeter and my qualifications were as listed below. * Greeting the participants as they arrive and placing their name tags on. * Signing in participants at the time of their arrivals and departures at the center * Runner: Walking with participants to and from designated areas at time of arrivals and departures. * Answering phone calls and messages made to the center. * Coordinating daily activities such as bingo games, yoga classes, arts and crafts, and performing arts. * When needed, assisted with kitchen duties in preparation to lunch and other extracurricular activities * Assisted with activities of daily living such as feeding, personal hygiene, and sitting with patients needed on suicide watch * Taking vitals, documenting temperature and reporting abnormal vitals to nurse on staff. * Filing and clerical paperwork including shredding and making packets for the Manager * Coordinating daily activities such as bingo games, yoga classes, arts and crafts, and performing arts. * When needed, assisted with kitchen duties in preparation to lunch and other extracurricular activities * Assisted with activities of daily living such as feeding, personal hygiene, and sitting with patients needed on suicide watch
