I served my country in the U.S.A.F. and have worked at the Dept. of Veteran Affairs. I have been a C.N.A. for over 20 plus years and I have experience working in Florida East, Winter Park and Orlando Florida Hospitals,Hospice/Vitas care,Private duty care in St. Louis, Mo. and Franklin,Pa. and several areas here in the Sunshine State of Florida as well as working many nursing homes. Providing care to elderly people has always been exciting to me. Meeting female and male patients who are seeking different individual goals and then helping them to reach their individual goals from restorative care, knee replacements,stroke victims and spinal injury as well as geriatric care. Being a male CNA you must learn to always be professional and to be very discreet when working with all your clients whether they are female or male. I will always make you feel very comfortable and explain everything that I need to do for each different skill that I provide. I have learned to listen to the family and to the patient for the needs as they may change. I love listening to the history and the stories of the lives that they have built. I really believe that listening to the mothers and how they have cared for their own kids and the fathers who stand by their wives while providing them with the excellent care they deserve. They have experienced so much and changes in this world. I am fascinated by the stories. I am a loving, kind, trustworthy and dependable person with an easy going personality and I also love animals. I became a caregiver when i went to a school in ny my mom was sick and i began to help, i my aunt was a nurse she would come to the house and give me vitamin shots her and my mom told me to look she told me if i eve think of helping other people i said yes .I went to a class where i began to learn. I like what i do because to have special skill and most of all to help the ones who cant help them self i have a great compassion for the sick and elderly. My greatest achievement is able to deal with the ones that need total care or have Dementie or Alzheimers there my skill come in by Gods grace.
